Klamath Falls has a highbrow Shakespeare festival just down the road in Ashburn, New Age hippies living in the hills all around the area... and then the baseline population is these ammosexual Nazi f-cks.

Oregon is weird. I miss it a lot.

Isn't that really everywhere? The only variable is how big the suburban buffer zone is.

You have a point. OR struck me as particular in having no middle ground. People were either Kronstadt Uprising or Konkwista 88, with nothing in between.

Fair point. In NoVa, for example, the buffer is the only part growing. Not that that's a bad thing, just a thing.

                        • All statues matter!

“GOP leaders in the Minnesota Legislature criticized Gov. Tim Walz for his administration’s muted response to a protest group’s toppling of a Christopher Columbus statue on the State Capitol grounds.

"They knew there was a threat to the Christopher Columbus statue, and he failed to adequately protect it," said Senate Majority Leader Paul Gazelka.

                            • The statue just tripped and fell, no one toppled it. :-)
