That's a fun one - focus in on the glory during his first two years as a new hire and skip any mention of the last 5-10
If only the two hockey programs were as good as the PR department apparently is

Safe to say, UNH fans will be rooting for our border rivals, maybe another sweep of the Friars?

It's what administrative types do best. The commish has learned well from his mentor.

Our best bet is knocking PC out of the contest. As they have 3 games left. Basically if they can lose at least 2 games we would need two wins we would be tied with them and we hold the tie breaker. If they lose out then we would only need 1 win out of our 4 game's.
I'm pretty sure PC owns the tiebreaker with us.

Really? Guess I'm uninformed. So tired of all of this anyway. Really, just get it over with.

Re: UNH Hockey: Where Do We Go From Here....

Depends. We are tied vs. Prov head to head, so that's even. The next tie breaker is conference wins. we both have 9, so how we do in our next four, and how prov does in its remaining 2, will matter. To get even in points, we'll have to win one more than Providence the rest of the way (unless we have two ties), so that would put us ahead in conference wins.

If tied after that, then how we did against BC (first place team). We have one win so far, two to play. Providence split with them (only 2 games)
                      The Souza record:
                      15-16 10th place
                      16-17 10th place
                      17-18 11th place
                      18-19 8th place
                      19-20 9th place
                      20-21 10th place
                      21-22 9th place
                      22-23 10th place

Thanks for this info 'watcher...that's pretty much what I had been told by someone who I thought had this down. Again...we'll see what the 'Cats have in the tank. All coming down to the wire!

I thot it was GF v GA in the head to head. This is way too convoluted! Should be an interesting fight to the finish tho. Thanks Watcher
