Cornell really turned it on there. Give credit where it’s due.

Good unbiased announcing by the Cornell radio broadcaster. Now if he could learn how to say Polino.

Could have been worse. Yale beat Dartmouth and Brown tied Harvard. So we are still tied for 5th with Colgate, but now we have the tiebreaker over them. And still only 4 points behind Harvard with still a game to play against them.

                              A slice of ECAC Standings...

                              5 RPI 19
                              6 Colgate 19
                              7 Yale 18
                              8 Dartmouth 18

After tonight's loss, holding 5th with the tiebreaker over Colgate is the best we could have hoped for...

Over the last few weeks, RPI and Yale have been rising while Dartmouth and Colgate have been falling.

Barring a total collapse by Quinnipiac and Harvard at 24 and 23 or a total whirlwind by Brown at 13, this group of four will battle it out over the last two weeks.

Seems clear to me with four games left, that the three "bands" of teams are pretty much set. We're almost guaranteed a first round home series. The four at the top seem solid to me (although we could theoretically crack into 3rd or 4th, but I doubt it). There's us in the mid four, and then likely the bottom four, of which we'll be playing one of them at HFH.
