And my last post isn't meant to have any ill-will or hard feelings, I just think the team deserves more credit than it gets around here, and that we should enjoy the good play we've been seeing and not be so quick to cast them in doubt.

Maybe you are right but the last 6 years have jaded me. This team isnt those teams but its still Red. No doubt they can beat Vermont. No doubt they can lose also. All of us want them to win, dont doubt that at all.

Possible Pairwise and Hockey East implications tonight:

Win: Maine can go as high as 12th in the Pairwise and 3rd in Hockey East.
Loss: Maine will be out of the Pairwise top 15 and could drop all the way to 8th in Hockey East.
Tie: There are a few scenarios where Maine will be as high as 14 in the Pairwise (but will most likely drop out of the top 15) and could drop to 7th in Hockey East.

I don't disagree, I just think that since they have been playing very well in 2020 its reckless to be sounding the alarms just yet. If they play badly again this weekend I would be much more concerned, even if they do so in a win.
