        Lost weekend.
Forget it and return to the ECAC.

          Savory didn't need this.

Never should have happened. Now we will see just what he has for Colgate and Cornell next week.

Maybe he did. If he is going to be the guy who carries us deep into the playoffs he is going to face nights where the team in front of him is outplayed and he will need to be the difference maker. Sheltering him from tough games will not get him ready for that.

As I said before, Savory is a mentally tough guy and he has bounced back every time he seems to fall into a rutt. We need him to bounce back quicker this time than usual, but we just gotta hope this weekend was a one off and that we get back to playing the great hockey that we were playing before this weekend

Remember we are not dealing with a young teenager. he has been through this lots of times before. He is a goal tender and they have games like this lots of times. But he was on an incredible roll with a streak of goal tending success that we have rarely if ever seen in Troy (perhaps Joel Laing had the only other stretch like this I can recall). Would have like his hot streak to be in the heads of the next couple ECAC opponents. Allow them to think about it and focus on it. We will never know if it would have made a difference as he played in this game.
