Texas Democrats worry Sanders ticket would ruin their campaign.

Well, because the last 7-8 have worked so well.

There will be much Concern no matter how well Sanders polls in those areas, and it will have nothing to do with the 1% projecting a narrative.

You realize he may be winning but he isn't exactly dominating right? But I forget math only works if it is on your side amirite? Stop pretending this is some plute conspiracy cause it isn't. (yes you are stop it)

If I was down ticket I would worry too...he hasn't proven a thing yet.

The point is to the degree that a Socialist gains legitimacy in American politics, the 1% will try do deny him that legitimacy. Right now that comes from mockery and hamfisted attempts to slander him. If he survives that the fear-mongering starts. Then comes the shady dirty tricks. If that fails, violence inevitably follows as the enslavers try to hold on to their power. For my evidence I give you the history of the world since 1848.

I hope the least that comes of this is a Teachable Moment for the American public when they finally learn the difference between socialism (good, pragmatic, liberating, enriching, wildly successful, democratic) and communism (bad, impractical, disempowering, impoverishing, wildly unsuccessful, authoritarian). If even just that happens we will have made more progress that I thought would happen in my lifetime.

However, the conflation of those terms is vital to the Plutes' control of American political culture, so they will muddy the waters and outright lie all the way. In the beginning it will only be the Right, but we'll also see the Center join in as it is also compromised by TPTB.

America could grow out of its incredibly extended adolescence in the next year. Something I really didn't think we had in us. That would be healthy for everyone except the 1% because it would result in honest debate instead of emotional terrorism by those looking to protect their privilege. We should all be rooting for clarity.

Good News: We have proof Mike Bloomberg can count to five.

Bad News: We have proof Mike Bloomberg has no clue about modern agriculture.

I'm pretty sure Mr. Bloomberg doesn't understand the field-to-storage-to-market tech involved in something like this. Today's farmer has to be everything from market analyst to electrical technician to CEO to economist to mechanical engineer.

Yes, I'm a UND guy and I just said something nice about farmers. (Don't tell anyone from NDSU. )

I think the current President set the bar pretty **** low for both counting to five and understanding any sort of even simple process.

Good riddance. No room for a plute in Dem’s clothing in this race.

I keep coming back to Kepler’s recent comments on Charisma, and I really think that is the alpha and omega of winning this election. It doesn’t matter whether the nominee is far left, center left, or moderate left. A candidate with a high charisma score will drive extreme turnout (say, 60%) within his own lane, but will also enjoy a lesser bump in the other two lanes. And turnout is the only thing that matters. A candidate without charisma will have a ceiling set by the rational turnout of people whose policy preferences happen to align. A candidate with charisma has the potential to get the emotional vote of every left-leaning monkey brain who likes a winner and wants to be a part of something bigger than themselves (I.e. all of them).
If you don't change the world today, how can it be any better tomorrow?
