47 seconds to play. Savory catches and holds for a faceoff.

          Thank you Owen Savory

Back from the game. Couldn’t agree more. Of course, I took Savory LAST night. Hey, he came within 0.4 seconds of back to back shutouts.
Looks like ECAC goalie of the week again.

First ever 1-0 Freakout game in the 43-year history of the game.

I thought this would have been a chance to give Owen Savory the night off. Turns out we needed every one of his saves to secure the BRF win. Looks like we'll be calling his number as long as he plays at this level.

Two things: 1- Gornall (North Dakota) and Zieky (Providence) have to speak frankly to their teammates this week about the challenge of playing a NCHC conference foe on the road in February. Western Michigan plays in the strongest conference in the country and I'm sure Western knows about our recent strong play. We won't be creeping up on them.
2 - A BRF win capping off a successful eight days with taking home the Mayor's Cup and the HFH sweep may announce to our students that this team is well worth their support and HFH is the place to be on Friday and Saturday nights.
