Whoa. Back when the Field House was packed,, the band was on the stage, RPI or Vermont has no nameplates on their jerseys, section 1 was in existence, and WRPI had two announcers I never heard before .
BTW, someone needs to ask if the stage is ever coming back
Ancient history for all of the above.... sadly.

I listened to those announcer voices on the BRF clip above. . One of those two sounds very familiar to me but I just can't place the name...
Harvard, given they have the lowest number of total penalty minutes.
Harvard has also played far less games than most other teams.
Anyways, the answer is it's us! RPI has the lowest Penalty Minutes per Game at 7.50.
From what everyone says about Appert and undisciplined teams under him, I doubt they ever were near the top of this category under him

I listened to the clip a few times, and I can’t place the voice with a name either.
Freakout trivia question: without looking it up, name the only current ECAC team who has never played in the Freakout.
And this is also the first non-league Freakout game in RPI history (unless you count the weekend series against Lake Superior in 1985 which was considered an unofficial Freakout weekend).

One of the announcers calls the other Jim near the end of the clip.
Re: RPI Hockey 2019 - 2020 Part II: Moving on with 2020 Vision!
I remember Jim Brennan used to call RPI games during the ‘80s. Not sure if he was still doing them in ‘94.
He used to be a sportscaster for Channel 6 in Schenectady.

It is definitely Jim Brennan. If you watch the full telecast, he is introduced as the play-by-play guy (Al Shibley on color commentary). Here is the cued-up intro of Brennan from the full video: https://youtu.be/aUDv53rCW6E?t=64
Edit: for extra confirmation, Ed Dague throws it up to the booth at the 19:59 mark, where Brennan introduces himself and Shibley.
