Parasite. Strange Korean drama. The acting is good and the storyline is bizarre and interesting. I'm sure we lose a lot in the cultural translation and yet solid A.

I've heard Parasite is excellent. It's on my watch list.
Never really developed a taste for tequila. Kind of hard to understand how you make a drink out of something that sharp, inhospitable. Now, bourbon is easy to understand.

Jesus, ya gotta warn Kepler about that. He might not be able to control his Taylor Swift emotions.

                    Noelle (Disney+):
Santa's daughter finds herself having to take over the family business when her father retires and her brother, who is supposed to inherit the role of Santa, gets cold feet.

I had major hesitations about this, but my brother said it was worth seeing, everyone in his household (9 people) enjoyed it. So, I told him I'd give it a shot. It's pure Christmas schmaltz, and I enjoyed every minute of it. It really was all about the true Christmas spirit, along with the trademark Anna Kendrick dorkiness that she brings to most of her roles. And might I say, Julie Hagerty (Airplane! and What About Bob?) has aged rather well. Shirley Maclaine and Bill Hader also succeeded in their roles (not a huge fan of Hader, so that part surprised me).

Either way, she's hot and awesome, but amazingly not the reason I watched this movie. Until my brother's review, she was the ONLY reason I even considered it in the first place.

                              UNCUT GEMS was excellent.

The Safdie Brothers did an excellent job at building tension/suspense from the start. Sandler can actually act too He pulls off the character wonderfully. You see his life spinning out of control, but you can see that Howard always knows his next move and how that's gonna rectify the situation. He carries this movie. Also props to Kevin Garnett. His role is small, but it's solidly done (given he's playing himself it makes sense).
