            If Bernie's the nominee then go Bernie. I've only said that 9 bazillion times. However in addressing solovsfett I was pointing out how his comment was boilerplate "everything is rigged" schlock that you'd see coming out of the Russian Intelligence Services and posted on Facebook in order to sow dissent and drive down turnout. Might be helpful if you could develop the ability to sniff this out as well....

                  "Rigged" is the wrong word. It's handicapping, like vote suppression or districting. We can still win but we need a big margin to overcome the bias.

                  I don't know why people freak out about this. It's been the case in every nomination race in history. The establishment either has a favorite candidate for spoils or they have resistance to certain ideologies for any number of reasons and try to block out those candidates. That's how the game is played. In 2016, it was both.

                  A bona fide small s socialist is not going to win the Democratic nomination unless he has an enormous advantage in the base electorate. Once all the ad buys and attacks and all the administrative manipulations are applied, a small lead will have been overwhelmed. In case you're new to politics, consent can be manufactured at the margins.

                  I have no doubt that had there been no finger on the scale in 2016 Bernie would have been the nominee.

                  I am also not butt hurt about this in the slightest because every nomination fight is like this.

                    Yeah, I did not vet the site, just saw it on twitter on lunch and reposted. My go-to sites would be mintpress news, the intercept, who what why and a couple of others.

If you apply to us for humanitarian aid we will always unstintingly supply it. If you have an aggressive foreign policy we may take action but we will never interfere with your internal politics, even if you request it. We will never supply you weapons, troops, or military training."

                          Think of what we could have done with this hemisphere if we hadn't subcontracted our State Department and military to US corporations and anti-communist zealots?

                              How was the finger on the scale? I keep asking and no one seems to have an answer. Classic conspiracy theory...just say it is so because you dont like the results and let the chips fall where they may.

                              Hillary Clinton won 34 states. (including Texas, California, NY and Florida)
                              Bernie won 26.

                              Hillary Clinton had almost 17 million votes
                              Bernie had just over 13 million

                              Hillary took 3/4 early contests. (only lost NH though she barely took Iowa)
                              Hillary took 8/12 on Super Tuesday

                              No Bernie voter was stopped from voting. There was no election fraud ever documented. She didnt backdoor it with the superdelegates even. (though she obviously had the numbers to do so) The only thing they can actually prove is the Donna Brazille nonsense. (which was stupid even for her) Bernie had everything needed to win...except the votes. Hillary beat him, and she did so without having anyone *wink wink* it through or put their finger on the scale. The whining is no different than every fan of every losing team saying "I am not blaming the refs but **** they didnt make life any easier on us!". The system isnt why Bernie lost and Hillary won...the voters are. It sucks...

                              And hey, if the "finger on the scale" deal is to be believed he should have no problems winning this time. None of the "centrists" this time have the support Hillary did. They should split amongst 5-6 candidates and Bernie should have a path. He has to do something besides win the medium and small caucuses though.

                                Kep your statement is absurd and fits with Russian propaganda. If DWS was involved in trying to screw over Bernie, he would have been the nominee! He lost because more people voted for the other candidate. Bernie did not hurt for funding or exposure. He lost fair and square. If he managed to get snookered by Debbie Wasserman Schultz of all people, do you REALLY want him running the country?
