  • Clarkson University Hockey 2019-2020

    So, based on the current standings, Clarkson is still well withing striking distance of taking the whole thing again this year.

    What are they lacking for the 2nd half of the season?

    What are their strengths?

    They have excellent goaltending and a top of the pile goal scorer and a bang up freshman.

    This team is missing Caitrin Lonergan. They need one more player up front and team was built around that.

    FWIW miss watching her at BC this year. She is a complete player and has been since I saw her play at Assabet when they were the only horse in the race.

      Excellent goaltending is a stretch. Numbers look terrific but the way Clarkson dominates many teams helps that, a lot. Solid goaltending for sure.. They lack a potent second line led by Caitrin Lonergan.. Not as strong/deep defensively as years past. If Ella Shelton were to go down with a season ending injury, it would be night night Knights.
