coach got back to his old ways by setting screen using greenway.

Let greenway see the ice and let him throw low blocker. Let the littles feed.

Ok Red. A tie must be a win and a sweep in your book.

He knows. A tie is a loss.

That puss owes Wally ten bucks.

Now that we are at it, fishman owes me 32 dollars... and Wally another 42 dollars according to my book keeping.

          Re: Maine

At least the thread title is short.
No one should be shocked Maine didn't get the sweep. They are what we think they are, a good goalie, one good line and Red.

I'm good for it. I'll take it from the $ we saved skipping the trip to Canton.

Saw this earlier, great news for Greg and his family. Wish he would have come to Maine to coach but he is better off where he is going.

Yes on hoping for Moore @ Maine, but he has his chance and should do well, as he has always worked and worked hard for everything.

                      do they?

seems like they have poor coaching AND a lack of depth

This team is not talented, just they have a top notch goaltender...no depth/no scoring/Coaching has always been in question...the team is better w/l wise then I thought they would be at this point...but its the goaltender (Swayman) and they do work hard and play for the most part hungry hockey.

I honestly disagree, regarding the team as having no talent.

That had to be given some more ink. Truer words....

                              Knock-back a 30-pack and maybe you'll better appreciate where he's coming from.

This team certainly has *some* talent, but no Red team has had enough to get Maine even close to an NCAA berth, and this one appears to be cut from the same cloth.

You're a young buck with a positive attitude, and I admire that. It's good to have you on here. Thing is, lots of us old bastids are still pining-away for the days when Maine won 30-ish games every year and were a perennial national juggernaut.

I'd rather be you, in that context... But we cross our fingers, and on we go.
