Again...if arguing on here causes anyone to vote for Trump or not vote...that's on that person...not the one arguing with them.
    Stop with the kumbaya BS.

It's not kumbaya. It's important that we all continue to respect and value each other. Our opinions come and go; they're the froth on the surf. Our energy and commitment are the only power we have to change things so don't erode it.

Wanna get mad at somebody? Get mad at the Republicans. Wanna attack somebody? Attack Dump. Democrats, regardless of our differences, are never the problem. We're fighting for the future of humanity. It's 1929 and we're fighting Hitler. We are each an extension of the other's strength and vice versa. How we treat each other will determine whether we win.

Already mad at them. I am to the point now where I am giving up on my "Work With Republicans" stance. Certain things are just not going to be flushed out of the system this cycle. In 4 years if we've lived through another Obama term I am going to be disappointed.

This opens me up to reevaluating Pete and Amy.

We have to stop the bleeding before we can think about treating the wound. This election is a tourniquet.

Hey at least he's open to having the conversation about having a conversation on getting big money out of politics, he just won't actually do it himself

Good, you should keep evaluating. I’ve got some moron progressive friends who spend half their day posting how terrible “Mayo Peed” is and it’s as childish as trump tweets

Bernie has basically created a left-wing version of the Tea Party, but none of them are self-aware enough to admit it.

Or it's a large and diverse group and generalizations about it are driven by rhetoric and not fact.

Except for the part where it's far more popular than the tea party and the ideas are actually good, it's just like the tea party!

The Tea Party got many people elected and accomplished many things. Has Bernie's movement done the same? The Tea Party moved the needle to the right to exactly where it is exists today. You can point directly to them when you see the Bill Graveyard reported that exists on Turtle Boy's desk.

As far as I can tell Bernie has a small faction of electee's in the House.

Taking a break from the Bernie - God or Satan? discussion, this is a fascinating article about politics & economic growth.

And that it's principled and not cynical.

And that it's grassroots and not astroturfed.

But otherwise, it's like a mirror image.

To this point in time we've chosen to have it concentrated. Trickle Down is still the overriding principle employed by the American Economy.
