Thought Yale played pretty well against Clarkson tonight. Had their chances to at least tie it at the end. Clarkson took advantage on a couple of power plays which was the difference.
LT, not sure how much of recent QPac you have seen, but they are 3+ limes deep of 20+ Freshman/Sophs with few good upper class men knitting it together along w very deep coaching staff - but Yale v QPac may appear like a down-game to these kids, and if Bulldogs are starting to play to their expectations, this could be very good game. Sacred Heart out passed and skated QPac few weeks back.
Always a big game! Does Oxford Ale Hoise still exist?
Just don't quite have enough against the good teams, even when we play pretty well. Would have been nice to last a little more than 18 seconds in OT. Hardly had time to think and it was over.
The diagonal dump and chase seemed to work pretty well against QPAC. Yale is only scoring off of turnovers, they have no cohesive rush plays coming out of their own end. I have to give Rand credit for requesting the review of the major penalty as unwarranted as it was. He used that review as a free, longer than normal time out, which allowed QPAC to take a breath and get back on track. They were in tough shape and tired before that review and I think it was the turning point of the game.

The Oxford Ale house does not exist but I did see The Plasmatics and also Elvis Costello there. I thought it was a pretty even and clean game by Y-Q standards last night. Tough greasy goal at the end oh well.
Yale played better against Q than they did tonight, but thanks to the usual chippy play by Princeton, Yale was able to score enough to get the win.
First time that I saw a team smaller than Yale this season. Not sure what the Princeton player was thinking about that hit to the head so far away from the puck. It was the turning point of the game. Thankfully the powerplay showed up to seal the deal. Nice to see Young, Ong, and Tabakin contributing.
Yale beats Harvard 4-4. The only thing to take away is that Yale may have squashed Harvards chances of making the tourney via pairwise.
More like Yale chokes against Harvard. You guys had the two points in the bank and let it get away. If not for Kasperski in OT, we would have made it three for three this season.
