Re: TV: A Succession of Watchmen in The Good Place

Just finished Yellowstone Season 2. Honestly I am not sure if I will move onto Season 3, and part of the feeling is why I'm not sure I'll continue with Peaky Blinders even though there is so much about both shows I really appreciate. I binge watched Peaky since I had some free time and with only 6 EPs per season I probably didn't have time to sit and reflect. Some of this is why I stopped watching Ray Donovan - which is there are virtually no to very, very few redeeming characters. I don't need duckies and bunnies (to coin a local a radio show) but outside of Monica and Tate is there anyone to root for? Sure Kayce has his moments as does Rip, and for some of the lesser characters Ryan and Jimmy. Others that had it are gone. Some of the stories have also been a bit too, "really?" as well.

What's kept me on is the stunning scenery that makes me long for home (no MN does not have mountains), some interesting character developments and strong acting performances. It doesn't hurt that the actress that plays Monica might be the most beautiful woman I've ever seen. But still. I will likely cave and give S3 a chance, but they have a lot to work with and I hope they can expand on the foundation or I'll sour on it quickly.

Watched bull tonight because I couldn’t find the remote as I was dumping laundry on the bed. It wasn’t... completely offensive. I didn’t mind it. I think it’s like SVU. I don’t need to watch it every week, but I could have it on in the background.

Was that the one supposed to be set during the age of the First Men, or the Targaeryn conquest of Westeros? Those were the two I recall being discussed, but I also remember there were some 6 or 7 series under consideration.

I would just assume these all die except for Arya's which could do something new.

Let's not turn this into Westeros-616.

So, they cancelled one prequel for another? I is confoosed.
Never really developed a taste for tequila. Kind of hard to understand how you make a drink out of something that sharp, inhospitable. Now, bourbon is easy to understand.

They have several in development over there. They will make one, maybe two, and cancel the rest.
