Exclusive: Former officials said Giuliani repeatedly made the case that the U.S. government should turn Fethullah Gulen over to Turkey, which has accused him of taking part in a 2016 coup.

There aren't a lot of shall we say nuanced geopolitical thinkers in Dump's orbit.

All I can think of is that Bolton unlike every other high profile appointee in Chump's administration has been involved in national security dealings previously and as a lawyer (I didn't realize that until this story broke) had the training and experience to sniff out what was legal vs what was illegal. He's also enough of a psycho to try to screw Trump from within - hanging around long enough to direct whistleblowers in the right direction, as payback for his dream unfulfilled of another war in the Middle East.

The discrepancies are “versions of fraud,” said Nancy Wallace, a professor of finance and real estate at the Haas School of Business at the University of California-Berkeley. “This kind of stuff is not OK.”

Just came here to post the same thing. Holy sh**.

There can be legitimate reasons for numbers to diverge between tax and loan documents, the experts noted, but some of the gaps seemed to have no reasonable justification. “It really feels like there’s two sets of books — it feels like a set of books for the tax guy and a set for the lender,” said Kevin Riordan, a financing expert and real estate professor at Montclair State University who reviewed the records. “It’s hard to argue numbers. That’s black and white.”
But some differences on 40 Wall Street documents elicit head-scratching.

For example, insurance costs in 2017 were listed as $744,521 in tax documents and $457,414 in loan records.

Then there was the underlying lease. Trump technically doesn’t own 40 Wall Street. He pays the wealthy German family that owns the property for the right to rent the building to tenants. In 2015, both Trump’s report to tax authorities and a key loan disclosure document asserted that Trump’s company paid $1.65 million for these rights that year. But a line-by-line income and expense statement, which Trepp gathered from what the company reported to the loan servicer, reported the company paid about $1.24 million that year.

Pres. Stroganoff started badmouthing Bolton after his departure. Bolton wouldn't have like that much.

Bolton nurses a Johnnie Walker Blue late at night; whispers to his framed portrait of Henry Clay, "If you poison us do we not die? And if you wrong us shall we not revenge?"

                              Ruh oh.

In a blow to President Trump, the full 4th Circuit Court of Appeals will rehear an emoluments case that he won over the summer.

A three-judge panel dismissed the case the case in July, ruling that attorneys general for Maryland and D.C. lacked the right to sue to enforce the Emoluments Clause.

The earlier ruling came after government attorneys representing the President filed an emergency appeal, preventing the case from reaching discovery while still at the district court level. The three-judge panel was comprised of Republican-appointed judges, including one appointed by Trump.
