Do us all a favor and really lay a beating on Harvard Friday, please. They have been butt whining all year about this and that.

NM scored, then C. 2-2 after OT, which allowed North Dakota and Mankato to take positions 1-2 in PWR. I paid $20 to see Cornell slide to PWR #3, which was a fair trade in my book. Will do it again tonight.
IMO, Colgate is going to need to come out with guns blazing against Ithaca State. Be physical. Be aggressive. They are intimidating when they all stand up on their blue line. And no stupid penalties. They are tough enough at even strength.
        Go ‘Gate (next weekend).
The NMU games were great. Not great hockey -- both teams were sloppy as a prom night tryst -- but very entertaining.

We're lethal even strength but unfortunately we can be had on special teams. This weekend we were better but you can still see us overthinking everything.

I agree about playing us physical -- Cornell's deep dark secret is we're not the Giant Death Robot of ten years ago -- we have speed and finesse now. We have a couple players who are good in the corners but we are really much more tape to tape and quick transition now. Playing inside our sweaters slows us down.

I am glad to see Colgate back in the top half of the league -- I've always felt a strong travel partner is like a 7th guy on the ice. Good luck against both of your pesky opponents this weekend. We have time enough for the Uncivil War in three weeks.

Blue Light, Miller Lite, couple of Good Natures. Maybe the list expands when we get to the men's games?

I'm glad there are no more bye weeks for us in the regular season. We slipped to 7th place in the ECAC standings just being idle!

Not really Rain, we have games in hand to catch up with other teams. Two games on most and five on RPI.

I’d love to see us do a number on Harvard but we’re lousy at home. I don't trust us to beat anyone at Class of 65 arena. We were able to beat QPac at home though so I guess anything’s possible. And Dartmouth’s been playing well lately too.

Greencoat are you still planning to come to Hamilton for a game?

Some people on other threads are saying that we're good this year. If we are, we will win both games this weekend, as we already have beaten both teams away ! Make me a believer, if you can't win at home we'll never get the first round bye. Dartmouth is playing better than Harvard right now. They'll want to avenge their 5-1 loss to us, especially at home. Pretender or contender, think we find out this weekend.

looks like we've got three forwards coming in next year (just a guess, maybe four)...wonder if that means that Jared Cockrell, who only played in 7 early season games last year, will get one more year due to injury...really have no idea but I think we are losing five forwards if all seniors are moving on...

So far, four forwards and four defensemen and a goalie for next year.
