Big playoff change being batted around, possibly for 2022.

Seven teams per league - the three division winners plus four wild cards. Team with the best record gets a bye past the wild card round.

The real fun part? Second best record gets to choose its wild card opponent between #5 through #7, then #3 gets their pick after that, then #4 gets whoever's left.

Dusty Baker wants MLB to step in and prevent bean balls from connecting with Astros' players this season.

    BDubs posted this yesterday.

Astros fans got mad and started a boycott hashtag. Iím guessing some Houston managers/franchisees said something because today BDubs came back with this lame response, which I believe is actually more of an apology than any of the Astros gave.

After the initial thing, and the punishment, and the canned responses, ok, we're done here. But now the Astros are continuing this charade, and the more they do this, the more I want them gone. Own your sh* you a*holes.

Oh, our cheating didn't affect the Series....

    BULL SH*.

The player "apologies" are just making things worse. Correa saying Altuve had a half-finished tattoo? SERIOUSLY? Not one person on this planet believes that.

The players are right to be ****ed, and I love all the interviews where they're honest about it. Bryant had a really good one as well. They have to find a way to punish the players or the team as a whole, otherwise, you're depending on the moral compass of players to not cheat. And look where that got us now.

The tattoo thing was beyond a pathetic excuse (having a few tatts myself). Saying that the cheating didn't affect the outcome? Bwahahahahahaha. While it's a bit old-fashioned, I hope a few Houston Asterisks get plunked this season.

They may not as Manfred has come out saying he'll punish those who plunk Astros more severely.

The question is...how does he determine an accident vs on purpose? That's a sticky situation....

My guess is hit any Astros player and it will be more severe.

If pitchers offer a half-hearted apology will that get them off the hook? Or does that only work for Houston players?

They have to claim the ball slipped because of an unfinished tattoo.

If that's the case, every Asterisk will be camping out ON home plate while at bat....

I want to boycott them for caving, but I don't go there. Oh well.
