Let me get this straight: They wanna play 7 inning doubleheaders in the 100+ degree Arizona heat? Or, if they don’t wanna play in the heat, they have to play at a time when the vast majority of their TV audience will be asleep. All under an extreme health risk for everyone involved?

How is this a good idea?

ESPN has the Ripken game on from 1995.

MLBN is showing games 6 and 7 of the ‘68 WS.

The ‘68 series may as well be broadcast in 4K compared to whatever fourth hand VHS someone’s great uncle sent to ESPN to show Ripken.

I watched the Crying Game live. It's one of the most emotionally involving sporting events I've ever seen and of course the aftermath for the Mets made it 100x more poignant.

Some interesting MLB memorabilia up for auction, including Kirby Puckett's jersey from Game 6 of the 1991 World Series.

That community is already in the process of dissolution where each man begins to eye his neighbor as a possible enemy, where non-conformity with the accepted creed, political as well as religious, is a mark of disaffection; where denunciation, without specification or backing, takes the place of evidence; where orthodoxy chokes freedom of dissent; where faith in the eventual supremacy of reason has become so timid that we dare not enter our convictions in the open lists, to win or lose.

Very cool. I'm curious to see what it goes for. I would think somewhere between 100-200k. Maybe a little higher.

Yeah, that's a major league item, pun intended. I'd really like to see the Twins step up and purchase it, then display it at the ballpark. An iconic piece of Twins memorabilia right there.

Good call. And agreed. It has to be one of the top 2-3 pieces of game worn/used memorabilia in Minnesota Twins history.

COmpletely agree. It might be a top five important piece of memorabilia all time for them. Hard to really think of one more important.
