Re: Rep Retirement Lodge: The Banana Bread Is Running Out
You know, it really would be nice if federal and state governing bodies would have decisions made in something approaching timely manners. I'm working on four mandated initiatives - three federal and one state - and the requirements keep changing. All due on 1/1/20, all with wildly changing goalposts. The state requirement may end up being delayed (board of health approved a delay, but the state legislature - which wraps up really really really soon - hasn't voted on it).
I gotta little bit of smoke and a whole lotta wine...

Good Evening Lodge!
Tomorrow will be Friday and it might be perpetual Friday for the foreseeable future unless something comes up on the employment front. (except for a few tidbits that need to be done for end of semester)
Re: Rep Retirement Lodge: The Banana Bread Is Running Out
Evening, Lodge. Had to work late tonight, because there was a "round table meeting" (not even the worst part yet) today that lasted 90+ minutes instead of 60 (which is still too much bullsh*; I hate meetings). The makeup of the meeting included DHBoss, 3 other employees (2 of which overanalyze EVERYTHING) and yours truly (who probably said about 2 dozen words).
Summary: employees saying this is the BS we are seeing, and DHBoss saying changes are coming down the pipeline, but can see there are needs for improvement.
Whee.
Never really developed a taste for tequila. Kind of hard to understand how you make a drink out of something that sharp, inhospitable. Now, bourbon is easy to understand.
