Evening, Lodge. bbdl hosted a nice viewing party for the MN Gophers bowl game. Great brisket, great beer, good to see folks that haven't seen each other in a bit. Back to the grind tomorrow.

Greetings Lodge. Happy New Year to you all! Back at work today. Still have the head cold. It's better, but as the day has gone on, the worse I'm feeling. My boss said I can head home soon. I took public transportation this morning. I was using my crutch. It was a bit of a struggle, but doable. Thankfully it's a nice day today.

Was thinking about asking if I could work from home today but I knew I had a lot of deliveries while I was out. Sure enough, I couldn't get to my desk when I got in this morning I had so many boxes in my cube. Didn't want to have to deal with it on Monday. I'm planning to work from home tomorrow. It was actually good to get out of the house this morning.

In the office at just about 7:40. Walked in the house this evening at 6:40. All on about 4 hours sleep. I can deal with this.

Evening, Lodge. I knew work today would be one of two ways: the easy way, or sideways. It went all the sideways. Onslaught of business, the holiday hangover did not linger until next week, that's for sure.

At least it's a 2 day week for me. That helps.

My back is really tight and it’s difficult to move right now. Is it possible for this to happen after a possible strain yesterday morning? I had no pain or stiffness at all during the day but I did move some heavy boxes yesterday morning.

I may need to go to Urgent Care today. Not sure what they can do. Maybe a muscle relaxer?
