Re: Rep Retirement Lodge: The Banana Bread Is Running Out
Good Morning Lodge!
Still recovering from the weekend. UGH! I am not 20 anymore. Having only a few hours of sleep a couple days in a row and I am luggage. Even when I sleep 12 hours to try to recover.
I was in Benton County and I managed to survive, so no.
Good Evening, Lodge!

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge: The Banana Bread Is Running Out
Evening, Lodge. This happened (via IM today, as I work at an offsite building):
DHBoss: Um what are you doing here today?
Me: Huh?
DHB: I have you marked down for PTO.
Me: I don't have it marked on my calendar down here...next day off is Cyber Monday. I'd be more than happy to go home, though.
DHB: Naw, you're already here, Mondays have been nuts, you want tomorrow off? I can do that.
Me: Sure.
That is typical me being absent-minded about something and not marking it down whenever I had put in a request for today (which was probably months ago; no reason, just a random day off).
Bonus: today was actually pretty dead, and Tuesdays are not much slower than the past Mondays have been. I may have won out overall.
Never really developed a taste for tequila. Kind of hard to understand how you make a drink out of something that sharp, inhospitable. Now, bourbon is easy to understand.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge: The Banana Bread Is Running Out
When I left the very first day of my new job, I had a migraine. It was not a pretty ending to the day.
Today was my first anniversary at this job. I spent the first half of it in bed due to a bad cold. I now have had the hiccups on and off for the last 2 hours.
....and now I can’t sleep because my nose won’t quit running. This is going to be another fun night.
I get that when there are major temp changes. It SUCKS. It's not an allergy, it's not some weird health thing, I just don't do temp changes.
