The Lakers are not tired. That game yesterday against Plymouth State was perfect. They should beat teams like that who are not ranked. We strongly believe the debacle in Geneseo affected the entire team. Maybe now they finally got the stink off of them from that Geneseo game. Hopefully they move forward.

You're right, its just one problem, PK is worse and 5 of the 7 PP goals came this past weekend. Maybe they've turned a corner, lets hope so. Need some quality wins.

A strong sweep this weekend to end the semester would be a good cleanse...of the stink...and provide some confidence going into the Pathfinder tourney.

A sweep would be nice, and the Tourney looks to be pretty strong as well... Williams is 5-1 with a #13 rank and a win over Geneseo the other night...UNE 7-2 rank # 10 and St John's is NOT coming here to be a doormat they also have a tie with Eau Claire who just took the tourney in Platty,so buckle up should be a good one....

We split a series with Williams last Dec...as for Buff State, wins against Brockport 2x and Genny. We go there and we haven't won on the road yet. Pucker up or buckle up, lets get a W. Go Lakers.

Wilkes is seriously under-rated in that beauty contest. #8 in the PW, which is what actually matters.

(And, yeah, Utica is seriously over-rated at this juncture.)

A nice blue collar win against Buff St. The Freddy game is getting to be the MO and very lucky to get the W. They just got to complacent in the third and allowed Freddy to come back. Glad to see Antonucci and DiCarlo getting ice time. This well help at the end of the season.Maybe others have a better memory than I but have we had a season with so many game misconducts. What are we up to 6-7??? I don't know if Coach has to change the style of Laker hockey to a less physical game or not.

We were at both games this weekend. Great execution Friday and a good win Saturday, on a night we could have lost.
I want to address the game misconducts this weekend. First of all Friday at Buffalo our captain Josh Zizek took an elbow under his chin strap banged his head on the glass and was cut. He went down on all fours and was bleeding all over the ice. No penalty. That’s right no call.
Saturday night in Fredonia the forward for Freddy skating with the puck releases the puck with his head down moving forward comes into Carter Allen’s chest head on. Carter Allen protected himself by pushing forward to protect himself. The play continued until our goalie caught the puck. No whistle on the play. No call on Allen. Then I saw the lineman skate over to the Referee and they had a conference. The end result Allen gets a game misconducts and the team gets a five. Unbelievable horrible call. I watched this player skating all night with his head down that Allen hit.
The level of ability from our D3 Refs is deplorable, they cannot keep up with the play of the game.
We actually saw the puck fly out of the rink hit a Fredonia player bounce back in the rink and the play continued. Four men cannot see this?

You nailed it, the refs cannot keep up with the speed of the game for sure.Maybe we should have the replay?? Not sure what the answer would be,also seems like some of the refs want to get noticed as well with ticky tacky calls, lets hope they can get their act together for the 2nd half.

the level of video technology to do a proper job on replay for rule decisions would bankrupt the league...the package the NCAA pays for to stream the frozen four the past few years would be called “WTOP Lite” - better refs are the answer at the D3 level.
