Ned Ryerson — got the shingles real bad senior year, almost didn't graduate? Bing again! Ned Ryerson — I dated your sister Mary Pat a couple of times until you told me not to anymore? Well?
So...did you go pro with that belly-button thing?

FWIW - one summer in Houghton, two friends and I set out to watch a lot of questionable and famously bad films. Thanks to me, we gained access to a projector in a tiny theater in the CompSci building. We'd order a pizza, then walk over at 11p, get in with my ID, and watch a lot of unlauded movies on a semi-big screen just for the lulz. I distinctly recall one night where we watched a gay parody of "Not Another Teen Movie" (which was in itself a parody of American Pie), and towards the end where the fcking commenced a Chinese grad student strolled up to the glass, briefly observed, then wandered away, and we were like, "****, we probably need to get out of here."

IIRC, that was the last week we abused my privileges.

It's been a decade since I watched both of those movies. Maybe I need to order a pizza and relive the MTU years for a night to settle this.

That grad student was John Yoo. It changed his life.

In the most predictable event to ever hit Hollywood, Sony and Disney have made up. The 2021 Spiderman movie will be co-produced and Tom Holland's Spiderman will appear in at least one more MCU film.

Oh good...Spidey gets to spend more time whining about Iron Man...oh and zero chance now that Spidey shows up in the Venom sequel.

Like Venom was any good to begin with.

I never saw it...but Marvel nixed Tom Holland showing up.

In The Shadow Of The Moon:

Detective tracks a serial killer that kills every 9 years. I thought it looked interesting, but they forgot to mention the SCI-FI aspect of it. It was still okay, but not what I was looking for. It's meh. Terminator vs [plot point redacted as to not ruin a twist]. And there is one more twist to the twist at the end. Viewer shall take caution, so as not to blame me.

I saw Ad Astra...yawn. The movie looks great, but it was slow and boring.

Kepler will love it cause it goes nowhere and does nothing but **** if the characters dont stand around staring at nothing for minutes on end during almost every scene

It sounds perfect. Thank you for the recommendation.

I have a feeling you would hate my 25 favorite movies of all time. You are an unerring judge of quality.

BTW, you really, really need to see Tarkovsky's Stalker.

As long as it isn't as bad as Tree Of Life or whatever that burning piece of sh* movie was. I'd rather force myself to watch the first 10 minutes of Movie 43 again, and THAT was wretched.

I'm never seeing that. I saw the preview and thought "this is a stupid person's idea of a smart movie." It looked like the cinematic equivalent of a TED talk.

Seeing Movie 43 better have involved getting sex or I have lost some respect for you. There are movies where you only need the trailer to know it's going to be worthless tripe. Yesterday. Knocked Up. Hope Floats. Anything with a dog or a child. Movie 43 was the crown prince of those automatic veto movies (although to be honest Tree of Life is right up there now you mention it).
