7 have now been confirmed dead in the latest expression of 2nd Amendment rights. With at least one more critically unstable. But hey, most of those that were shot will physically recover, so this one wasn't really all that bad. I mean how many people died from complications of diabetes yesterday? I bet it was way more than 7 and I don't see anyone here wanting to ban donuts and sugar sodas. What a bunch of hypocrites.

Of course I'm a fan of the Vikings. A sick and demented Masochist of a fan, but a fan none the less.

Re: Another Mass Shooting: It's Those Darn Video Games!
I was curious just how much overlap he would have had with Debra Messing, and it would have been just two "upfronts" at most that they would have worked together.
The Apprentice's first season aired in January of 2004. Second season was September 2004, Third season January 2005, Fourth season September 2005, Fifth season February 2006. Will and Grace ended in May 2006. Upfronts generally take place in the spring to showcase new programming for the fall.
The Apprentice was a smash hit in part because of the "new" reality programming, mostly because it was on NBC's guaranteed ratings Thursday night between Friends and ER.
They potentially would have done upfronts for NBC together in the spring of 2004 (when Apprentice was still new) or spring of 2005 but Will and Grace was announced as ending right around that point so Messing wouldn't have been concerned about his ratings.
The Apprentice's ratings never touched what they saw in the first season, predictable and continually declining no matter what after that first season. That powerhouse Thursday lineup collapsed when Friends left, and ER couldn't carry that night on it's own.
... aaaaaaand this may be better suited for the TV thread.Last edited by aparch; 09-01-2019, 01:52 PM.“Demolish the bridges behind you… then there is no choice but to build again.”

I would've said January of 2002 or so. And I definitely remember watching that first season, where the winner got to lead the construction of his Chicago hotel (guy is no longer part of the Trump Org, btw).

I do not believe any of the winners are working for Trump anymore.“Demolish the bridges behind you… then there is no choice but to build again.”
