    Republican voters will vote for their guy no matter what. Democratic voters are finicky.

    That said it isnt the political hit so much as the waste of time. Not only will it distract from everything else going on but the endgame is the Senate GOP will make sure it dies on the vine. Then Trump gets to declare victory and play up conspiracy theories. Investigate and arrest everyone involved and make sure everyone knows how it gets back to Trump. But dont impeach unless you can win.

      I would impeach him if Mueller shows us treasonous collusion with Russia. Let Collins explain her vote to acquit while waving to people at the Bangor Int'l Airport. Same goes for Gardner, Tillis, Ernst and McSally. Not to mention every Gooper Congressman in a swing district.

          100% agree. There's a time for it. But not until we get the Mueller Report and it has the smoking gun.
