To borrow a jeer from the southwest, they're not a university, they're a college.

The team really lost focus last night. Lets hope they find a way to get it back tonight and carry it through the playoffs.
Every team has a bad night and last night was ours.

        Lets go RED!!!!!!!!!!!

This night is to say Thank You to RPI’s 4 seniors (Meirs Moore, Brady Wiffen, Chase Perry and Captain Tommy Grant) and to try to build a little momentum for next weeks playoff series.
Since we have no chance to host next weekend, any chance they will play Marshall (or even Perry) in net tonight to give Savory a little rest?

I heard through the grapevine Perry is out as result of injury. I'd love to see him out there, but it probably won't happen.

We're still battling for 10th, so I'd say keep Savory in there.

This game means quite a bit. The boys need to show themselves that they were not the team that played the last two periods last night (post fire alarm) and were the team that played much of the past few weeks. We also have to remember that 2 important players who get considerable ice time came back into the line up yesterday and that may be a bit responsible for some of the uncoordinated play. Good chance for another 60 minutes with them in the line up so they can iron out all the rust. The entire flow of the game yesterday was different with innumerable icing calls as opposed to the previous few games.
Question-our best face off player was back in the line up last night but i am not sure he took any face offs. What can that indicate if anything?

He will have off until Friday, it isn't like he has to play tomorrow, so I agree.

Similar story to yesterday (so far) for the women. Being outshot 19-4 by Cornell, but leading 1-0 on a goal by...Orosz.

Women's game is now 1-0 RPI after 2 periods. Cornell leads in shots, 34-6, so I think that gives Selander the undisputed record for career saves. There should be a lot of rethinking of the Kazmaier finalist choices after this series. Selander should have been in the final three.

This time even strength. Still up 1-0 at the 55 minute mark, but on a PK. Selander has 46 saves.

And the women Engineers win it 2-0 ! Orosz gets both goals (the last was empty net) and Cornell outshoots RPI 49-10.
