We also now know that corn syrup isn't the ingredient that makes beer ****ty.

So far every commercial I've seen from last night had been underwhelming, with a few exceptions.

Having other things to do last night, I caught the last four minutes of the second quarter, and then most of the third quarter. Then, because the game was just boring, my wife and I went to the empty Target and got some shopping done.

The offense only scores 13 points and they give MVP to Edelman but the D only gave up 3 points and Gilmore had forced a fumble, a int, 3 PBUs and 5 Tackles!?! Smh no respect for the masterpiece on Defense!

Yes it is. There's a family owned Mexican place near me, with the REAL Coca-Cola (and great food). Needless to say, I go there a couple times a month for some burritos or sopes and a Coke.

Never really developed a taste for tequila. Kind of hard to understand how you make a drink out of something that sharp, inhospitable. Now, bourbon is easy to understand.

I would have gone with Gilmore.

Agreed. Or give it to Belichick. He's the one who deserves it (pardon while I throw up).

I'd give it to him just because the rest of the league is too arrogant to do what he does.

I'm referring more to how he game plans. He either works harder than everyone else or everyone else thinks that they're so smart they don't have to change. I've seen no other coach like him who will change everything his team does based on what the other team does.

I think it's like Saban. In a world of 24/7/365 workaholics he's somehow even more ridiculously intense.

But it's even more impressive than Saban because the Patriots have a salary cap.

It's hard to argue that NE is the most talented team. IMHO, they are very far from the most talented team. The haven't had a real high draft pick in 20 years, and they constantly take cast of players from other teams and make the work. And that includes people who are supposed to be superstars but under perform AND relative nobodies.

Even more impressive, he can work the team enough to actually generate trust in the players. Not that the players trust the coaches, but that the coaches TRUST the players so much that they can re-vamp huge parts of the game in two weeks, and it works like a charm. Remember, one of the key players was knocked out of the game early, but did anyone notice a real change in how the defense ran? Other than one play where a receiver was wide open in the end zone, but there was enough time to make up for it- the Pats played directly into making Goff see what they wanted him to see- not what was actually there.

In a world where the individual rules so much, it's pretty amazing that the coaches trust those players that much.

And lets not fool ourselves- the only common denominator here is Bill. All of his assistants that have moved on have hardly succeeded- most are just below average.

And Brady. As loathsome as he is, the results don't lie.
