    Lobbied. Great album.

Like U2, the Police were so good before they were so bad.

      I still listen to Synchronicity.

      Walking In Your Footsteps
      Synchronicity
      Mother
      Every Breath
      King of Pain
      Wrapped..
      Murder By Numbers

imho that's a fairly solid way to go out.

My first random 5 today from iHeart:

Low – What Part Of Me
        Vagabon – Water Me Down
Sturgill Simpson – The Dead Don’t Die
The Avett Brothers – Tell The Truth
LCD Soundsystem – Daft Punk Is Playing At My House
Outlandos reissue is out and available now on vinyl. Not sure why they didn’t release them all in one go.

I love synchronicity. It’s A weird hybrid. Not quite The Police but not quite full Sting solo record. I love all the songs you reference.

Also, there’s a great story behind the recording where the band was at an impasse on finishing a song and sent Summers out to knock on George Martin’s door to request help. Martin kindly brushed them off saying “you’ll figure it out”. When Summers got back to the studio the song (I forget which) was finished.

Don't need 'em, already got 'em. And no interest whatsoever in Synchonicity. The Police were dead to me after GITM.
What kind of cheese are you planning to put on top?

Coolest album art of all time:

Also one of the best titles:

I discovered both the Police and Ryle as a college freshman. Bliss it was in that dawn to be alive. But to be young was very heaven.

Still listening to Garbage, but now I'm on "Beautiful Garbage." Surprised that album didn't sell well.

Agree on the lp art. I’ve considered that as a tattoo now and again.
