Yikes. Patty Smyth is many things but attractive is not one of them. She and Janis are the Monsters of Rock in more ways than one.

I've always felt fortunate to have been that age (16) in 1969. I was a hick but aware enough of all the social issues that burned so bright in those and preceding years, yet young enough to be safe from the killing fields for at least a couple of years. The music, of course. Raquel Welch was a little too much sex for a 16-year-old (yeah, I know--how is that possible?). Grace Slick and Joan Baez were not.

Patty (edit: Patti) Smyth, as in Horses, right?

                  She's a genius but yikes.

These days she looks like Steven Tyler.

He means this Patty Smyth. Just enough 80s bangs to count, not so much as to approach Vixen levels of self-parody.

On looks only, Lita Ford in the 80s. However, she was, shall we say, not the most lady-like woman? Susanna Hoffs was rather attractive. Paula Abdul was the "It" girl for a while, and Spinderella (DJ for Salt'n'Pepa) was rather hot. Same with Janet Jackson. Going into the 90s, Alanis was decent looking, and DEFINITELY got better with age. I always had a thing for Jewel, too. Eve is dang good-looking, also.

Silly me I thought this was the thread on war...not the thread of ugly guys rating women way out of their league.

My take on this whole thing:

Trump: Take out that Salami guy. He killed a bunch of people.
Everyone: ok, done. What's Step 2?
                              Trump: What's a "step 2?"

I think everyone finally convinced him to show a thread of competence in not retaliating to the retaliation.

If by everyone you mean Tucker Carlson, then you're correct.

As someone point out (here? Twitter?) Thank GOD Bill O'Reilly isn't in the 8PM time slot any more.
