Re: WWE: Things Are About To Get Rowdy

I guess he could pull the "the WWE Universe is my tag partner" and claim Freebird rule to grab some guy out of the audience every night. That would be pretty funny actually.

That was a pleasant surprise last night. That match was better than I anticipated.

Part time Brock does it again. *Sigh*

Any chance he walks away from WWE for awhile and leaves the belt up for grabs?

Brawn and Nicholas approached Kurt to hand over the tag titles. Nicholas' scheduling conflicts were cited, seeing how he has yet to finish 4th grade. But rest assured, as soon as he is able to, Nicholas will join Brawn to take them back!

Saw a report that Nicholas is one of the referee's sons, /shrug.

This has been an old bit for decades. Hulk only did PPVs, so did Undertaker. Just sayin'. It happens.
Never really developed a taste for tequila. Kind of hard to understand how you make a drink out of something that sharp, inhospitable. Now, bourbon is easy to understand.

Part time is okay with me — just not when you’re the WWE Universal Champion, and have been over a year. Why put the belt on a part time guy for that long?

I when I watch RAW on Monday nights, it would sure be nice to have the belt on someone who shows up most of the time, maybe even takes the mic himself and says a few words, etc.

Brock rarely shows up, always retains the belt when he has to defend it, and has Paul Hayman talk for him. I get that’s his bit, but why Vince doesn’t want his champion there most of the time is beyond me.

Especially when there’s such good talent in the WWE right now.

And therein lies the problem with WWE today: They have no long term plan. WTeff was the whole point of that match beyond just being a silly WrestleMania moment?

Eh, showing Brawn taking out the tag team champs solo, more or less. "Had to pick a partner", left crowd in suspense, Brawn DGAF and picks 10 year old from crowd. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Again: also see: Hulk Hogan. It's been a LONG running bit.

Hogan was not ever a part time champion. He ran the house show circuit like everyone else.

                          Did he? (Honest)

Thought in his later years before the switch to WCW, he only did PPVs......

Nope, everyone ran the house show circuit. It’s how the WWF(E) and the wrestlers made the bulk of their money in those days.
