Wasn't it Israel that developed, launched, and utilized the Stuxnet computer virus that attacked Iranian nuclear program computers? And basically it wasn't until they admitted to it that anyone knew about it?

It was probably a collaboration with the US. We can compromise virtually any supply chain in the world that's not completely under the control of that nation's military / counter-intel infrastructure (and maybe even then).

Any product that is commercially sold, anywhere in the world, is vulnerable to corruption by US action. Introducing malware into computer systems is a piece of cake, with or even without the vendor's knowledge (when we Trojan Horsed the Iraqi systems it was with the full knowledge of the computer companies).

As far as I've heard the code was Israeli. I have absolutely no inside knowledge about any of this -- it's all from open sources.

This is part of the testing and experimenting everybody's always doing with an eye to if things get really hot. China is basically on an offensive war footing with their cyber attacks; the US is still The World's Leader but we lose ground all the time. Commerce and military have basically joined hands here informally (we get a breath of this whenever it's exposed that our social media companies are working with the USG and sharing all our data) to the same degree that China has them working together literally in the same building.

                  "Everything's comin' up Putin!"

Turns out Russian collusion isn’t a "witch hunt hoax" after all. At least not in Austria.

The country’s government collapsed on Saturday after Chancellor Sebastian Kurz said he was pulling the plug on his ruling coalition after just 17 months in office.

The move came barely 24 hours after the release of a bombshell video showing Heinz-Christian Strache, the far-right leader of his junior coalition partner, trying to trade public contracts for party donations from a woman he believed to be the wealthy niece of a Russian oligarch.

                      Speaking of debt

@DarrenJBeattie: Since 2001 we have spent nearly 6 TRILLION dollars on Mid-East Wars

How many pols even know how many 0's there are in a trillion?

6 trillion is greater than market cap of Microsoft, Apple, Google, Amazon COMBINED, plus USA's entire student loan and credit card debt.
