Einstein is local to *something*, just like Newton was, just like Galileo was, just like Aristotle was, ... If you don't like the rules just find the larger frame.

But for the microprobes we don't even have to crack FTL. We just need to focus light tight enough to push a chip big enough for useful sh-t up to light speed and then, um, figure out how to decelerate it on the other side (not really clear how we're gonna do that).

Parachutes. Clearly, they're the only answer.

Elon Musk's Hyperloop found to be just hype.

Yes, for those keeping score, in a mere two years we’ve gone from a futuristic vision of electric skates zooming around a variety of vehicles in a network of underground tunnels to—and I cannot stress this enough—a very small, paved tunnel that can fit one (1) car.

Weird. My phone just switched to 5GE.

That was unexpected. It’s.....FAST. There isn’t even a lag clicking on a link. Jeebus.

What phone do you have that you get 5G?

iPhone 8. But only in a very small area within Minneapolis. Haven’t done much exploring but I don’t get it 20 miles east. Which is to be expected given the infrastructure/technology requirements.

On at&t. It says 5G with a small capital E after it.

Lol. This is why we should fire all markerters out of a cannon into the sun. Marketing is just a study of how much can someone lie without breaking the law. This kind of sh-t should be illegal.

Cool. iOS 13 will include eye contact corrections so it actually looks like you're looking at the person. I used Facetime a lot when traveling. This was annoying. Glad they're "fixing" it. Plus the tech is cool.

Despite knowing next to nothing about chemistry, I am fascinated by specific energy.

This is easily the most entertaining video I have ever seen that touches upon it.
