Kinky Boots was hysterical. It’s fun and lively and very entertaining. Book of Mormon made my sides hurt from laughing so much. But if you have the money, go see Hamilton!

Book of Mormon, unless mookie is independently wealthy.

Would be interesting to see a stage version of GGR though - I imagine it translates very well.

Re: Arts - cause Mookie is cultured

So often these days we're reminded of the various ways that humans can suck as a species. American politics, Syrian refugees, genocide in Africa, corruption in SE Asia, global warming, etc., and then there are days like today. I attended a musical concert setup to benefit 3 local charities. It was a combined performance comprised of students at the school my kids attend and visiting students from an academy in Seoul. Orchestra, traditional Korean instrumentals and a few singing solos made for a wonderful day. They performed everything from a traditional violin concerto, to Gaga's Telephone with string instruments only, to a southern hoedown in which a 12 year-old Korean kid was front and center picking, fiddling and dancing away. These kids were very impressive and inspirational. So while we can represent the lowest of the low, someone had to write these beautiful pieces of musical magic and the kids made me feel that maybe there is a bright future ahead of us.

Who even needs nukes when mere WW1 conventional weapons can do this?

Here is the story of this 10-day battle. It included wide use of flamethrowers and mustard gas.
