    Re: Gender Studies I

I think my favorite part about the pins is while they cover all of the well-known options and some of the lesser known, they also have an “Ask Me”. That was cool. It allows people to engage and educate. I’m pretty sure that’s the one I’ll pick over he/him

Oh god, I had no idea these were real things. I thought you were riffing.

That's very cool. It makes it explicit, the very existence of them drives home the bigger point, and it removes the disingenuous excuse that the bigots hide behind when they want to needle you that "hurr I didn't know hurr."

I'm sure many will still make honest mistakes, I only ask that if a mistake is made, the offended ask if the offender knows why that is a mistake. If they don't? Then that's a great opportunity to educate. If they do, then explain why it's offensive. If the offender continues to offend, then by all means fire away.
Never really developed a taste for tequila. Kind of hard to understand how you make a drink out of something that sharp, inhospitable. Now, bourbon is easy to understand.

Sorry but I do not know where that falls on the schedule. Is that a "yay, nearly there" or "sh-t, still so far to go"?

Dumb question - how bad are the side effects if any? Will the dosage you're currently taking remain the same or will you ever be able to lower it?

Not terrible, actually. There is occasional water weight, mood swings, cramping, and wanting to eat everything, but it's not so bad.

The only thing is I thought breasts would materialize and they didn't.

As for dosage, it depends on my endocrinologist. Currently on a 0.4 ml shot of synthetic estrogen once a week. And I take 100 mg dose of Progesterone as well.

The testosterone blockers will stop once I have an orchiectomy at least.
