It is interesting that the RPI athletics website acknowledged Todd Burgess being drafted by Ottawa http://www.rpiathletics.com/news/201...nhl-draft.aspx, despite the fact that there has been no official recruit announcement as far as I know. The recruits, prior to Reisinger's commitment, have appeared in an Ed Weaver Troy Record article.

Happened two years ago too, since they mentioned D****n getting drafted. Not sure if they had made the announcement of Prapavessis by then but they surely hadn't had any official announcement of D****n. My guess is that it's really not a big deal - commits are public knowledge in the media, etc. and it's not a serious breach to reference someone everyone knows is coming.

I note that the ECAC did not mention that a 2017 SLU recruit was drafted when they mentioned all fo the ECAC recruits, so maybe this year's are fair game, but not next years.

Edit: 2-minute penalties should be 1:40 (about 1.67 minutes) in a 50-minute game.

On Wednesday, Team Gray defeated Team Columbia 9-5 in the Select-17 tourney. Their final record is 3-1-0-1 (11 points). Jon Bendorf had a goal (PPG), 2 assists, and a minor penalty. http://teamusa.usahockey.com/game/sh...bseason=306324

Edit: He finished tied for 6th in the tourney scoring. Team Gray won their division.
