The article originally said Daniel would be playing for UAA in 2016-17, that has been removed. Kurt told me he is playing for the Ice Dogs, and he should know!

    From ADN:

"According to NCAA, the (UAF) hockey team used ineligible players in every game played from the 2007-08 season to the 2010-11 season. Over that span, the wins and ties will all become losses. 4 wins and 2 ties came against rival UAA".

    UAF is 56-86-12 vs. UAA.

UAF made the kind of hockey history on October 10th 2015 that no team wants to claim – the Nanooks became the first NCAA Division I victim of Arizona State.

If he plays pro hockey, is he only gonna play in Minnesota? That is a soft excuse, if you choose to call it an excuse. But yeah good luck to him.
Just to be clear. My disinterest in this team became of the Uni's disinterest. Without the success of the hockey team, the other teams would not be where they are. Way to pay back the hockey team. **** UAA.

Good for them! Not an easy task when some of them played in the ECHL while still getting their degree.

In my opinion Ege was our best player.
We sure got an avalanche of new guys coming in.
If I had a cool pic or saying it would go here.

During the first half of the season I agree Ege was one of the better players, but not during the second half. The fire just wasn't there, and I spoke with numerous other fans who felt the same way. He wasn't happy with the Ice Dogs, nor UAA. I hope he finds that perfect fit he's looking for.
