The reason for the talent in the west? Because MN didn't rely on Canada.

Too bad the Goofs are probably going to lose to Bemidji.

No shame in losing to past Frozen Four participants.

        They're in the club.

It's losing to teams with a well established record of NCAA bed wetting like SCSU that hurts.

The PC-Lowell game in Friday featured a interference penalty on Lowell which I still believe was a clean hard hockey hit that the refs thought was too hard

You can take SCSU out of the WCHA, but you can't out the Jan.

Who did SCSU wet the bed against? Not like we have lost twice to 15 seeds. Or went down 4-0 in the first period of a tournament game.

It's just too hard to officiate, too hard to teach, and there is just no place for body on body contact. Players over 5'11" should not even be allowed to play in today's world. There is no place for young players to look up to players like Stevens, Neidermeyer, Pronger or Blake. The facts are just overwhelming

My favorite player to ever watch was Hasek. I hope there's never a ban on Czechs in men's hockey.

I'm also in favor of points being awarded for figures, footwork, expression, visual connection to the audience, musical choice and meeting all the jump requirements. A two-minute "time-out" in the kiss&cry box should be sufficient for players who appear to pout or utter naughty words.

Nope, never happens. You'll never see a Gopher going high on a Husky player in a manner that could ever be seen as a cheap shot.
