Thanks for posting this. I missed the Banquet. Ciampini's hat trick against BC ...... in the semifinal .....
His departure is a hole that we will be hard pressed to fill next year.

New recruit -- believed to be the first committed to Union for 2018-19, plus the program's first 99-born commit.

When do we pick Captains for next year? Do we wait until September?

That is usually announced either right before or at media day. Even though the program has preferred a defenseman as the "C" in recent years, Vecchione should be the favorite next season. He's the only returning letter-wearer.

Saw this RB posting to the "Blades"

The spring term seems to be going by quickly as we're already in week four. The returning players continue to spend time in the weight room with Coach Dan Gabelman. The off-season is where they'll make their most gains in terms of strength and the process has begun. Our staff has been encouraged with the results so far and with the leadership of Mike Vecchione and Matt Wilkins.

I would think you are right with Mike and Matt taking two of the three Captain (C) and Alternate Captain (A) spots.

IMO Next year is an unknown. So much depends on the incoming class. Got some size again which is always a great thing. Going to be "rebuilding".

Our "D" is returning largely intact .... but will they be any better? Weight Room Time .....

Our game against BU .... hear the crowd roar when Vecc scores the third goal ... https://youtu.be/7wI06rXUd70
