Got6 is an SLU fan. He means Darcy had two goals and two assists vs SLU Friday night, I believe.

I asked GR on Twitter after the game on Saturday. There was a little confusion but he just responded again. Ultimately, he said he always evaluates in the summer but will probably be back.

I still haven't heard anything about Baun officially. Hoping he comes back.

Other teams have multiple players leaving every year yet they still persevere; Colgate is fortunate to have ONE, but the impact it has and replacing him will be much harder for the Raiders. I was surprised when Wagner left so early and wondered if he was dissatisfied with 'Gate.

Article on today's front page says Colgate should be back next year. Hopefully we'll be under the radar; we always seem to do better from there.

It's not only Baun we could lose. We have to replace Corcoran, Gentzler, Lidgett, Wilson, Herrington and Spiro - a daunting task. Unless we have recruited a super class coming in, it is going to be difficult seeing us as favorites next year. Having been picked #1 this year, not sure we want to go there anyhow

Shabby, how was the attendance in LP? Do you think having a consy game would have helped keep some of the SLU and QU fans around for the championship game? Have you posted a report about your experiences in LP? Looking forward to your reflections on the weekend.

I hear you, ColSkate...but those players are Seniors and their departure was anticipated. Baun is a Junior and was not expected to leave.

Last year, Colgate was "young" and overachieved. Next year, the Spinks need to shine. They've had impressive stats but this year was a bit underwhelming IMO, in large part due to Spink's injury. As seniors, I hope they can be a true, dynamic duo. Perhaps the rest of our team is young as well, but we have some good playoff experience under our belt and have shown that being young does not count you out. SLU was young and went far this season as well. Obviously, Hayton helped with that.

Friday's attendance was 5,025; Saturday was 4,940, only a 75 person difference! At 7,700 capacity, it was filled about 65%, not bad, not bad at all...and that is without SLU in the title game. I don't know that the consy game would have made much of a difference. It appeared on tv that there were more Harvard fans in attendance on Saturday than on Friday, which is understandable.

Last year with Union, Quinnipiac, Cornell and Colgate, attendance was only 4,337...and that is with 3 New York teams. Saturday's attendance with a Union/Colgate final had even more...4,850! Both schools had a great presence for being a small size. Again, no consy game.

In Atlantic City (2013), the semifinals included Quinnipiac, Yale, Brown and Union, with the latter two in the final (boy, I had forgotten the Bears made it that far, and now look at them)

100% agree with everything stated above. I was actually surprised to see 5,025 for the SLU/Colgate game as I thought it looked like even more than that to be honest. Plus, I know that the opposing teams and coaches are usually in the stands and they fill some seats without being counted in the attendance figures. Take that as you will ... Also, if Clarkson and SLU ever make it on the same year then we could be looking at sell outs (potentially) or close to it. I think it's been a great success since it moved back to Lake Placid and it will hopefully continue to be more successful year after year!

Hey, it was a late post, and my job ends at 3!
Every article I've read says capacity is 7,700; perhaps that is seating room only. Can't imagine the ECAC turning aside fans with extra green in their hands.

7,700 is the seating capacity but it can hold quite a few more in standing room attendees.
