I'm not a fan of 7-year contracts. Too much can happen and the school can be locked into a bad situation. Besides, these deals tend to be one-sided in favor of the coach.

Winning a National championship cures all ills, at least in Schenectady.

Brandon Pirri: Turk would give it to Jagr. That's awesome! Jagr's untouchable. And he would give it to Jagr.

It doesn't seem to be on the website, but I received an email stating that the RPI Men’s Hockey Golf Outing will be held on Monday, August 11 at Shaker Ridge Country Club

Remember, the two coaches that won national titles at RPI also had some issues. That is often the case with successful people. They push the limits and sometimes cross the line, at least in the minds of some. It all depends on your priorities and motivations, but it is certainly much more difficult to run a successful executive out of an organization.

Let it go Louie. Let it go. One incident in an otherwise stellar career shouldn't taint the guy forever. Unfortunately, that is not always the case.

One incident that we know of. This kind of behavior doesn't come out of thin air.
He had a great season and he deserves praise for that, but I don't think that we have heard the last of his anger management problem.

Tartuffery is alive and well in Troy. Wouldn't RPI love to have Rick Bennett and a national championship!

                                national championship - Yes
                                Rick Bennett - No.
