On Saturday, the Victoria Grizzlies defeated the Alberni Valley Bulldogs 5-1. Alec Dillon saved 21 of 22 shots. He was named #3 Star. http://www.bchl.ca/leagues/hockey_bo...1421&link=bchl

That's fine. If he gets the nod, that's a good thing. If it was an even split of shifts, I could understand that even at the juniors level.

So what was your complaint? Besides for very early in the year he was getting a split. Conceivably he will get more than that now.

On Friday, OJHL South & West lost to the CJHL in the Central Canada Cup 2-0. Michael Prapavessis had no points or penalties. http://www.centralcanadacup.com/en/s...idMatch=234392

Prapavessis' line is now 1-0-0-0-0.

S&W plays again at 9 PM. These are 40 minute games.

So what was your complaint? Besides for very early in the year he was getting a split. Conceivably he will get more than that now.

I was being berated because scouts were compiling a rankings list based upon "very early in the year" and those doing the berating objected to the cross-examination of their complaints that he was not considered on the scouting list.

I'll drop this topic. My confusion was based upon your post #8 in the thread when you used the perfect tense "has played" as opposed to the pluperfect tense "had played". I thus thought that you were referring to the situation at the time that we were posting, not that much earlier on the year. My own opinion at that time was based upon his performance last year and the feeling that he was adjusting to the BCHL early this year. Let's drop this topic since we both think that the situation could be different later if he continues to improve.

I'm cool with that. I didn't think it would carry on this far. What is good news is the numbers he is putting up thus far this year. Obviously there's more to goaltenders at this level than their numbers (positioning, seeing through screens, etc.), but until we see a game with a camera fixed on the goalie...

I'm cool with that. I didn't think it would carry on this far. What is good news is the numbers he is putting up thus far this year. Obviously there's more to goaltenders at this level than their numbers (positioning, seeing through screens, etc.), but until we see a game with a camera fixed on the goalie...

He is tall enough to see over a lot of screens.

On Friday, OJHL South & West defeated the LHJAAAQ (Perron-Burrows) in the Central Canada Cup 6-0. Michael Prapavessis had two assists (both PPA). http://www.centralcanadacup.com/en/s...idMatch=234397

Prapavessis' line is now 2-0-2-2-0.
I have never seen penalties listed in seconds instead of minutes before. (See the player statistics.) (Also the SOGs formatting leaves something to be desired, but they didn't include them anyway.)
Two games again tomorrow.

On Friday, the Waterloo Black Hawks defeated the Chicago Steel 2-1. Drew Melanson had two assists (1 PPA). http://ushl2011.stats.pointstreak.co...gameid=2234394

Melanson's Waterloo line is now 22-6-13-19-8.
His total is 24-6-13-19-8.

The other two games aren't finished but neither recruit is playing.

Tironese isn't dressed again http://ushl2011.stats.pointstreak.co...gameid=2234391. There is no indication that he is suspended. He could be in the dog house, injured, or missed a flight back from Canada assuming he was home.
