Here is from the NCHC presser on the shootout and ties. They are recording them as ties. I agree with you Ralph as what they should do but they aren't.

Went back and read DU's entry in Know Your Enemy.
Since that was written Monty went recruiting, adding:
forwards Emil Romig (NAHL), Matt Marcinew (AJHL), and Evan Janssen (USHL-Dubuque).
goalies Evan Crowley (NAHL) and Greg Ogard (EJHL).

He also had an open tryout and picked up forward Sean Toriumi from the Club Hockey team.
And finally forward Evan Ritt (USPHL) just joined the team at the end of winter quarter.
