The most recent Pairwise Rankings place six ECACHOCKEY clubs among the top 13 in the nation: Dartmouth #3, Yale #4, Quinnipiac #9, Union #10, Cornell #12 and Harvard #13. Granted, it is still very early in the season but this is quite a statement for a league that historically has been disrespected by the college hockey "elite". Having witnessed several games recently, including Yale's strong performance against Denver and Colordo College plus Cornell's thrashing of Michigan -- it's time that the college hockey world take notice. With a few exceptions it would be difficulult to find such strong statements for student athleticism in other major college sports.

.Never really developed a taste for tequila. Kind of hard to understand how you make a drink out of something that sharp, inhospitable. Now, bourbon is easy to understand.

Dartmouth is no joke - I'm a Big Green believer.
But the EZAC is still the EZAC.Originally posted by reBlurthe sober Trivino I know is not a guy who would force his way into a girl's room and attempt to rape her. I can't imagine him ever making anyone even feel uncomfortable when he's sober. There are plenty of players in my time covering the team who have looked at me differently or flirted with me or the like. Trivino has never been one of those players. Even outside of the rink, he'll say hi and is plenty of friendly, but has never been even close to saying or doing anything inappropriate.

The majority of hockey fans would not pick their team to finish worse than fifth place. The majority of hockey fans are wrong [if arithmetic retains any credibility]. Imagine the poppycock generated by wannabe hockey savants who predict the performance of eight or ten teams at a time, compared to the performance of another eight or ten teams?

Re: ECACHOCKEY 2012-13 Season: One of the strongest leagues in college hockey?
Silly ylae fans. Until we do something on the national stage in April routinely (not necessarily win championships, but do more than send a team to the frozen four twice a decade), we will not be amongst the strongest leagues in college hockey.
Yes, this year appears to be a stronger than usual ECAC, however it won't mean squat if we get 4 teams into the dance, but none to the frozen four.
Sit back, be silent, and let the season unfold.

UNO is visiting Quinnipiac at the end of the month for a weekend series and I would see that series as something of a bellwhether on this thought process.
