Tironese's OT goal. IMHO, he also handled the puck well prior to the goal.

Sorry, I have fixed that. Yesterday's game was the one that was streamed. The game vs. Grand Rapids on 12/20 will also be streamed.

so no Edina game tonight (wed.).....next streamed game will this Sat. night.....http://www.mnhockeycenter.com/view/m...ews/news_60270 The final live game this week on the MNHockeyCenter.com will feature the Edina Hornets traveling to Maple Grove Saturday night for an 8pm game. The Crimson opened the season with a pair of losses at Wayzata and will be looking to bounce back with a steady effort against the Hornets............Sorry if I confused anyone (except for myself ). I thought the inital post from the other thread was posted at 6:30 am today. Looking back it was yesterday

I think he'll be jsut fine. He is competing well and getting plenty of ice time on a team stacked kids going to top schools. I couldn't help but notice that Omaha wins the prize for roster / size disparity. They have 6'6 211lb. forward captain Eli Lichtenwald (uncommitted, by the way Doc ) and 5'8 130 Bobby Gaudreau...brother of that other tiny kid who'll never amount to much...

Lichtenwald very recently committed to a certain college about 15 miles west of Troy.

Edit: Gaudreau has committted to BC.

BTW, so far Melanson has an assist this evening. I'll post the usual wrap up later. He seems to be picking up his game recently.

Wicked-we have no doubts about him. Our only concerns were simple-he played on a high school team that just was so far above the competition most nights that it was hard to really judge him against the opposition. Our second minor concern was size-but he has added some weight to the frame we first saw a couple of years ago. He is quick, he is fast, he sees the ice well, he seems to find his linemates with passes right on the tape. A lot will of course depend on his surrounding cast-but he is going to be a good one to watch in Troy.
Take the shortest distance to the puck and arrive in ill humor

Understood Doc. The year in the U will help, but I'm sure he'll have his freshman ups and downs as with most kids.
