Re: ECAC Tournament Will Return to Lake Placid
Good news. Lake Placid is a great location. There's the bobsled run, the ski jump and the ski slopes when you're not watching a hockey game, and the ambience of two past Olympics is a further attraction.

Went to last year's Division III final @ LP and was impressed with how ORDA ran the thing. Will also be going in 2013 and the 2014 combined D-I/III National Championships in Philly.CCT '77 & '78

Haven't been on this forum in quite a few months and what a pleasant surprise to come back to. Lake Placid was/is and forever will be the best choice to be the host of the ECAC Championships.St. Lawrence Skating Saints Hockey

Re: ECAC Tournament Will Return to Lake Placid
As an outsider, I'm just looking at the finalists. Seems to me most fans of the ECAC would prefer Lake Placid or Albany over Providence/Atlantic City. Is that fair to say? If so, which do you prefer? LP or Albany?

It seemed that most would also rather go to Providence rather than back to Albany, a more vibrant downtown scene there.

I've said it before and I'll keep saying it: In Lake Placid, the ECAC tourney is truly an event. Great to see the league recognize the need to stop the bleeding.""Ralph is the Chuck Norris of this board. Ralph doesnt sleep he just waits." - fishcore12
