    Minnesota Gopher 2012 offseason thread

The game is over might as well get started early.

What are the chances Haula sticks around?

Not their fault, this is their first road game in the 2012 playoffs they still don't know where they are yet.

I feel for you guys. Getting embarrassed by BC has become a proud WCHA tradition.

At least you guys had a season worth remembering.

Thanks man. The tides will shift. BC certainly is on a tremendous run though.

It will be interesting when Jerry York retires.
Slap Shot - 444 might want to consider a restraining order.

He won't. BC's hockey boosters are probably fundraising for the medical technology necessary to keep him alive and mentally sharp for decades. In 20 years, he could just be a Nixonian head in a jar like in "Futurama", and his team will still make Frozen Fours 75% of the time.

When did we get a Hull on the team?

Very optimistic for next year. Success breeds success. (Except in North Dakota where success breeds thuggery )
Bottom Line: If you deserve to win the national championship then don't worry about who you play, when, and where. Just keep winning.
Exception: You are right about the refs. They, no doubt, have it in for <insert your team name here>!

I always forget Jake Hansen is from Fargo ND.

That's what Barry Melrose said his name was , and I'm sure he was researching the rosters the past 11 days in preparation for the Frozen Four.

Say, you're not claiming Barry doesn't know what he is talking about, are you?

While watching the game I said something about Melrose being a dolt and my son says,
"Give him a break, he does work two days year.
Which is, by the way, that is two more than Mike Eruzione."

We could have used a Hull or two yesterday...

Re: Minnesota Gopher 2012 offseason thread

Question - does anyone have an idea when schedules come out? I'm coming back to the homeland for the first time in a really long time. I want to see the last home series against ND and want to give myself a reminder to check flights and get tickets.

    Thx

Was reading through GPL and I don't think there is much of an Alliance. A lot of hatred for BC over there. Anyway, I am pumped about the scheduling deal between BC and Minnesota. I will certainly make my way out there at least once.
