The USCHO Fan Forum has migrated to a new plaform, xenForo. Most of the function of the forum should work in familiar ways.

We are hoping that this new platform will prove to be faster and more reliable. Please feel free to explore its features.
I really like that both the men and women are playing BU (and BC too) this year after many years of not doing so. In the late 60's before Hockey East was created BU was a great men's rival. As fellow Patriot League members I would like to see both their teams on the schedule each year along with...
Point well taken Proud Canadian, the 3 players you mention are definitely leaders. On the ice though Biederman's play can be so inspired. It's her last time to leave her legacy and I expect a very good year. Same with Emma. She had a bit of a Soph letdown last year, but I expect her to reclaim...
Proud Canadian I agree. We also got the Hockey East Rookie of the year from Merrimack and a highly regarded goalie recruit from Alberta who plays for an elite Boys hockey prep team. Only girl in the League. I could see a competition up to the first game before a decision is made on who starts...
I hope it's none of you WCHA buzzards, but I wouldn't be surprised if she's been "illegally" tampered with by one or more of the three "professional" teams in your league. Has NIL money reached women's college hockey out there yet? Probably and if so Muzzy would be there first is my guess.
I doubt Ella Belfry going to BU is what you were referring to, but as one if our few very capable D's a big loss none the less. She really improved over the year and I am sad to see her leave. Boston certainly has a lot more moving parts than Hamilton. Spitz looking to leave is no surprise and...
Bad day for major Gate teams across the board. Both lax teams and both hockey teams lose. Here to Cornell and laxmen to Bucknell were the worst as we were the better teams coming in. A big class coming in next year for hockey and most are Harder's commits so should be interesting. Unfortunately...
Great season Gate women especially given all the unexpected obstacles the team had to face with the depleted D. Thank you seniors for your leadership and dedication and hope to see at least some of you join the already large alumna pool in the PWHL... Returning players, the future looks bright...
We're tired of WCHA chat. You're favored and should be BUT today could be the day.
Waiting for Abbey to play with the big girls in the WPHL to see how her game translates. She will be fun to watch as will Kalty K our leading player. Both play hard!
TchrBill, what Cornell transplanted is nowhere near as nice as our prior C so get over it. Also the sooner we stop living in the past by referencing our former AD the better. I love our newish big C and it's use on our uniforms across all sports.
Hoping for a good game today. Our forwards are really going to have to be in a back check state of mind to help our diminished D. Whatever happens I hope SM doesn't get on the score sheet. Her departure coupled with 2 important D lost to injuries for most of the year really impacted our season...
Disappointing game tonight. No real fire, tentative. Not the team that hammered Union away two weeks ago. Hope Coach can light the fire under them for tomorrow's game. We're better than this...
Tough one to end on, but the better team won today. Our D struggled early and their D was great. Kudos to Cornell for their great year. We'll be back.
Excited to see who we play. If we stay at #5 and Cornell and UM stay pat, it looks like it could be the Gophers there.
Looked great until we convinced ourselves the game was in the bag. Hope we learned our lesson. Cornell will play a physical game to slow us down. We have to play just like we did for 2 1/2 periods last night. Speed and opportunity and as few mistakes on D as possible...Hannah can do it!
Also agree re Alexia. It's obvious Steph is very confident with her in the ice. She has shone she's worthy with her excellent play and fearlessness. She's another prime time player who gets better as the stakes increase and coaches ask more of her. I've watched her since she committed during her...
Yes, in her second year and despite the occasional penalty which she never used to take, she is really starting to use her strength and skill to muscle some big guns off the play. Not at all afraid to go toe to toe. Princeton has some great forwards and she helped make it very hard on them...
Great gutsy win tonight to get through to Lynah. That we have made it this far with a depleted D corps and only 3 lines is a testiment to the coaching group, team leadership AND Murphy. Biederman and Kalty playing D says it all.
So what do we think fans, will we build on the progress we've made in the last 3 years and remain competitive or will the loss of Hunt, Brown and Dosdall be too much of a burden to overcome? We start out with a tough schedule (after no exhibition games for some reason) which gets only tougher so...
