The USCHO Fan Forum has migrated to a new plaform, xenForo. Most of the function of the forum should work in familiar ways.
Please note that you can switch between light and dark modes by clicking on the gear icon in the upper right of the main menu bar.
We are hoping that this new platform will prove to be faster and more reliable. Please feel free to explore its features.
I don't see how that contradicts anything that I said. Also, St. Norbert's 24-25 roster had multiple players who played in the USHL, most notably Brock Baker, who was an alternate captain for the Madison Capitols.
Not going to dispute that. Those final two periods were emblematic of SNC's problems all season; get a lead, fall asleep and hold on for dear life after you get scored on. It happened against Gustavus too. I told myself after the Gustavus game that SNC wouldn't be able to play like that against...
I know that. I'm talking about the skill increase as a result of borderline D1 players that will play D3 because of their roster spots being taken away by CHL players.
It's disingenuous to call above average teams "bad". Going purely on record is also deceptive because of SOS... Stout is 27/87 in NPI. Teams they should've beaten for sure, but it's not like they're Dubuque, Morrisville, or Brockport.
SNC can clinch the two seed in the NCHA tournament with a regulation sweep against Lawrence this weekend. Trine is playing Adrian, a series which could have major implications for an at-large bid in the NCAA tournament, pending the results of the Harris Cup playoffs. An intense weekend of...
Chatham was at 51 last time I checked, but if you're not including shootout losses I agree; I was simply pointing out how incorrect of a statement that SNC has lost to "bad teams" this season is.
Current NPI rank for Chatham? 51. Lowest current NPI rank for opponents who've beaten SNC? 38. That's right, SNC's worst loss was against an above average team by NPI (one spot behind Albertus Magnus, the team who beat Hobart). Saying SNC has lost to bad teams this year is not only deceptive...
This thread is intended to be a discussion of all things SNC Men's Hockey. From potential recruits, future schedules, to the new rink and SNC history. Anything SNC-related belongs right here! I'll start this thread off by asking a question: Who do you think will be scheduled for our last...
