    This isn't necessarily true, at least in hockey; higher-end D3 performers often find themselves in the FPHL, SPHL, or even the ECHL and AHL. D3 players in the NHL is very rare though.

    I don't see how that contradicts anything that I said. Also, St. Norbert's 24-25 roster had multiple players who played in the USHL, most notably Brock Baker, who was an alternate captain for the Madison Capitols.
