The USCHO Fan Forum has migrated to a new plaform, xenForo. Most of the function of the forum should work in familiar ways.
Please note that you can switch between light and dark modes by clicking on the gear icon in the upper right of the main menu bar.
We are hoping that this new platform will prove to be faster and more reliable. Please feel free to explore its features.
Crazy that the rest of the conference seemed markedly better, coupled with this being one of the more frustrating Mavs teams in a hot minute...and the MacNaughton’s still staying home. Wouldn’t think it’s going to be a leisurely week of practice after how frustrated Strand was after Friday’s...
Big win Saturday, hopefully it's the start of something. Can maybe afford a split with BG, but pretty much need to win out to put themselves in a decent spot for the postseason.
Defensive effort on Friday reminded me of the height of the Hasting/McKay heyday...where it seemed like one goal was going to be more than enough to get the W.
Now we can't replicate some of the efforts against Northern from last year, need two more regulation wins.
Well...that was one of the more frustrating weekends of hockey I can remember watching in a long while. Really struggling to do the simple things correctly right now.
Mavs are actually playing them. One post said they were the only collegiate team participating, but didn't say why. Looks like Switzerland and Denmark are splitting games between Kato and Rochester.
Mavs playing the Swiss world juniors team at home on December 16th. Denmark vs Canada a week later.

Game Day! Not to overhype it, but it has the most nervous energy for a regular-season series in a long while. I know the Badgers aren't an upper-echelon team, but a couple results with all the circumstances could go a long way this season.
Assuming the Saturday night "retro" threads for the actual team will look more or less like the ones they're selling through the NIL site. Absolute home run IMO, especially compared to the grey ones from last year.
Preseason awards announced yesterday. Mavs picked No. 2 in the coache's poll and No. 1 by the media. Alex Tracy and Evan Murr with accolades.
The fact that a coach did the mental gymnastics to not vote for Tracy as the goalie on the preseason team is pure comedy. Probably Rico...
Tracy and most of the D corps being back makes me think they should be conference favorites, but agree that the rest of the league should be better..And that would be a great thing.
Updated roster is up, so might as well start a new thread.
A lot of new faces and opportunities to step into big roles.

This conference is incapable of having a boring offseason.
